BTS member Jhope recently released his much-anticipated song Killin' It Girl. On Thurday, Hobi appeared on TWICE Sana's YouTube talk show Fridge Interview, where he revealed his ideal type. According to the BTS star, he is drawn to someone who is different from him, with unique perspectives and viewpoints. He humorously illustrated this by saying that if he were to describe a pear drink, he'd simply say it contains pear, but his ideal match would analyze it from a different angle.

Fans took to social media, convinced that Jhope's description perfectly matches another idol, sparking curiosity about his preferences. Interestingly, the BTS member was also asked about his ideal type. Initially taken aback, he shared that it had been about ten years since he'd been asked this question.
Hobi revealed that his preference has changed over time - previously, he liked someone with soft, "salamander-like" features, but now he's drawn to those with cat or fox-like qualities, appreciating individuals who are different from him.

ARMYs soon took to social media and reacted to Jhope's cute preferences on ideal type. A fan wrote, "when at first he said salamander type and they showed an axolotl i cannot make this," another one commented, "I LITERALLY JUMPED WHEN THEY SHOWED THAT" a netizen commented, "Was just about to tweet the same thing and all my ss ready sope divorced allegations CLOSED,"Basically all the fanfics I’ve read with Tannies being oblivious to the fact that they are madly in love with Yoongi," others also dropped similar reactions.
