BTS is officially making a comeback, and fans can’t keep calm! Earlier this month, on July 1, the global Kpop sensation finally confirmed what ARMY had been eagerly waiting to hear — the group will be reuniting and releasing a brand-new full-group album in 2026. During a livestream, group leader RM made the annoucement and said, “We’re going to begin focusing on producing music in full swing in July.”

Now, in a recent Weverse live held on July 14, BTS members Jimin and Jungkook gave fans a much-anticipated update on how the preparations are going for the comeback album. Jungkook said, “It’s been around a week since we came here and let me tell you guys,” when Jimin jumped in excitedly and added, “We’ve been working really hard!”

With big smiles and lots of energy, Jimin continued, “We’re all working hard on preparations! To put it simply, we’re on fire.” He paused for a moment before saying thoughtfully, “Ah, now that I think of it, isn’t it the first time we’re sharing this like this? That we’re working hard on it? Have we before?” Jungkook smiled and replied, “Nope.”

On the other hand, the chat then took a more serious tone as Jungkook said, “Next year spring, no matter how the results are, we must have something, right? I mean, we can’t delay it further.” Jimin firmly agreed, “We CAN’T delay it further!” Jungkook mentioned how much ARMY has been patiently waiting and how the group needs to give them something soon.

However, the moment turned light-hearted again when Jungkook asked, “So, what’s today’s concept?” Jimin laughed and said, “Dumb, dumb. A fool’s.” Jimin also admitted, “I’m really curious. I mean, we don’t even know what we’re doing yet. I’m wondering what kind of song we’ll come back with.” Jungkook added, “Actually, the title… I’m really curious.” Jimin nodded and smiled, “You are, right?” and Jungkook agreed, “I’m curious too.”

Even though the final concept is still being figured out, it’s clear that all members are working hard behind the scenes. Jin, who is currently on his solo world tour, and Jhope, who recently performed at Lollapalooza Berlin, are both expected to join the others in Los Angeles soon, where the group is believed to be working on the new music.

Meanwhile, RM had earlier mentioned that this group album will reflect the thoughts and creativity of all seven members. “We’re approaching the album with the same mindset we had when we first started,” he said, giving fans even more reason to be excited. With preparations in full swing, Spring 2026 can’t come soon enough for BTS fans around the world!
