BTS star Jimin constantly captivates people’s hearts with his delicate and versatile vocals. From singing super hit songs to releasing solo tracks, the BTS member has amassed a huge fan following. His independent releases like ‘Promise,’ ‘Christmas Love,’ and album FACE, have won over netizens’ hearts. Jimin released two single albums FACE and MUSE in 2023 and 2024, respectively. His first solo album FACE had six mind-blowing songs which instantly became a hit among ARMY. What later came as a surprise was a seventh hidden song titled Letter.

Jimin’s Letter has now been stolen by someone after two years of its release. The song was listed on Spotify under somebody else’s name as the person claimed it as their own work. According to a fan page on X (Twitter), a person named Miryusif Mammadli, also known as Mirey3m, claimed the copyright for the acoustic version of Jimin’s Letter on January 21, 2024. They registered the song on multiple platforms and presented it as their own.

After spotting the news, BTS ARMY took their rage to social media and demanded BTS agency BIGHIT MUSIC to take legal action on the same. Online users seemed to be disappointed as they expressed how such a big agency can rely on fans to point out such big issue. Fans expressed their anger as well as their worry and demanded that the agency protect Jimin’s work.

Jimin’s FACE album is about self-discovery and personal growth, particularly in the context of the pandemic. People resonated with the tracks as they revolved around loneliness, confronting oneself and finding freedom. The album blended various song genres, including pop, hip-hop, and R&B, with a strong 80s-inspired electronic pop influence. The album consisted of 6 songs - Face-off, Interlude: Dive, Like Crazy, Alone, Set Me Free Pt. 2, Like Crazy (English Version), and a hidden track Letter.
