BTS member Jungkook has once again faced a frightening security breach after a woman attempted to break into his home in Seoul, reigniting concerns about the idol’s safety and privacy. According to Yongsan Police Station, a woman in her forties, identified as Ms A, was arrested on charges of home invasion late on Saturday night, August 30. Reports state that she entered the underground parking area of Jungkook’s residence in Yongsan-gu by tailing a vehicle. The alarming incident marks the second attempt to unlawfully enter the singer’s home in just a few months, worrying fans around the world.
According to a report in MBN, the incident occurred around 11:20 pm when the woman managed to sneak into the parking lot by following another car. A security guard monitoring CCTV footage quickly noticed her suspicious entry and alerted the police. Upon being detained, the woman allegedly made incoherent statements to the authorities and claimed, "I went in because it was a friend's house." This is not the first time Jungkook’s residence has been targeted. Back in June, a Chinese woman in her thirties also attempted to break into the singer’s home. That incident occurred on the very day Jungkook was discharged from his mandatory military service. The Chinese woman allegedly tried to enter by guessing the door code but was caught.

Meanwhile, Jungkook came live and addressed this issue. He said during Weverse, "Please don’t come. Don’t come. Understand? If you stepped into parking lot you’re locked in you can’t get out. There’s cctv and everything. Unless you want to head to police station do not come. Do you understand?" He further added, "I hope there’s nobody coming to my house. I beg you." Earlier also during BTS Las Vegas Tour the Kpop idol addressed how fans had been constantly calling his hotel room. He stated, "It’s annoying. It’s scary. It’s disturbing."

On the other hand, the repeated breaches have left BTS fans deeply concerned, with many urging stricter measures to protect the group’s youngest member. Jungkook, often called the Golden Maknae, has previously shared glimpses of his home during live broadcasts. However, fans on social media now fear such openness might have compromised his safety. Authorities have confirmed they are continuing investigations into the recent trespassing woman's actions. Meanwhile, both fans and legal experts are calling for stronger enforcement of South Korea’s antistalking laws, with many demanding tougher penalties for those who target public figures. Under the country’s 2021 anti-stalking law, offenders can face up to three years in prison or fines of up to 30 million won (around £19,000). If found carrying dangerous items or weapons, the penalties may rise to five years in prison or fines of up to 50 million won (around £32,000).
