On January 15, 2024, BTS’ song Black Swan surpassed 500 million views on YouTube. It took over 3 years, 10 months, and 10 days. It is their 17th music video to reach this milestone. The magical music video of Black Swan showcases BTS members changing from swans to black swans on stage.

Danger Tops Billboard World Digital Song Sales Chart

On January 29, 2024, Danger topped Billboard’s World Digital Song Sales chart for the week ending on February 3. Danger is a part of BTS’ full-fledged album Dark & Wild. According to Luminate, Danger sold 2,431 copies in the U.S. in a week. The track also debuts on the latest edition of the Digital Song Sales chart at No. 16.

Dynamite receives quintuple platinum certification

BTS’ Dynamite received quintuple platinum certification from the RIAA. Dynamite surpassed 5 million units sold, becoming the first song by a South Korean group to achieve this feat. It's the second South Korean act overall to reach quintuple platinum certification.

The 25 Greatest Musicians of the first 25 Years of the 21st Century

BTS ranked No. 19 on Billboard's list of top 25 best pop stars of the 21st century. Billboard praised the group's groundbreaking impact on the global music scene. They highlighted BTS' record-breaking achievements, innovative music and massive fanbase. The Billboard noted, “The group has broken through ceilings for boy bands, K-pop and South Korean artists in general, all while creating a meaningful community that is continually inspired by BTS’ message of positivity, love and connection.”

BTS Song Butter Sells Over 5 Million Units In The U.S.

BTS song Butter has now sold over 5 million units in the US.It becomes the group's second song to reach this milestone. Earlier, Dynamite achieved this feat. This makes BTS the first K-Pop act to have to have multiple songs sell over five million units each in the U.S.
