BTS Comeback Goes Global On Netflix: Global Kpop superstars BTS have officially announced their long-awaited comeback, partnering with Netflix for two major premieres. The group will return with a live concert special followed by a documentary film, both streaming exclusively on the platform later this month. The announcement has sparked excitement among fans worldwide, as this marks BTS’s first full-group return since their hiatus in 2022.

BTS THE COMEBACK LIVE | ARIRANG To Stream Worldwide On Netflix

BTS will headline a live comeback concert titled BTS THE COMEBACK LIVE | ARIRANG on March 21 at 8 PM KST (5 PM IST). The concert will stream live and exclusively on Netflix, reaching viewers across the globe in real time. The performance will take place at Gwanghwamun Square in Seoul, one of South Korea’s most historic and symbolic locations. This event also marks the first-ever live event from Korea to stream globally on Netflix, making it a landmark moment for both the band and the streaming platform. The concert celebrates the release of BTS’s new album ARIRANG, which arrives on March 20. The live show is directed by Hamish Hamilton, known for directing the Super Bowl, and produced by HYBE, BigHit Music, Guy Carrington, Garrett English, and Kevin Hermanson, with Done + Dusted serving as the production company.

BTS: THE RETURN Documentary To Premiere On March 27

Following the live concert, Netflix will premiere the documentary film BTS: THE RETURN on March 27, exclusively on the platform. Directed by Bao Nguyen, known for The Greatest Night in Pop, the film offers an intimate look at BTS’s reunion and creative process. The documentary explores the making of the album ARIRANG and documents the group’s journey as they reunite after completing solo projects and South Korea’s mandatory military service. Much of the film was shot in Los Angeles, capturing behind-the-scenes moments as the seven members return to working together after nearly four years apart. Fans get a closer look at the group’s personal growth, emotional challenges, and reflections as they begin a new chapter.

The Netflix concert and documentary lead directly into BTS’s 2026–2027 global tour, their first since 2022. The tour will begin on April 9 in Goyang, South Korea, before expanding across Japan, North America, Europe, the UK, Latin America, Asia, and Australia. The ARIRANG World Tour will span 34 regions and 82 shows, making it one of the band’s most ambitious tours to date.
