Choreographer Dhanashree Verma has been making shocking revelations about her personal life, especially following her divorce from cricketer Yuzvendra Chahal. She is currently seen on the reality show Rise and Fall, hosted by Ashneer Grover. The show also features Bali, Arjun Bijlani, Arbaz Patel, Akriti Negi, Aarush Bhola and others. In the recent episode, she made a shocking cheating allegation against her ex-husband, claiming that she caught him cheating just two months into their marriage. In a conversation with Kubbra Sait on Rise and Fall, Dhanashree opened up about her marriage. When Kubbra asked her, “When did you realise in your relationship that, ‘Bhai, yeh nahi chal sakta, yeh mistake ho gaya hai abhi?’ Dhanashree responded, “First year. Caught him in the second month," leaving Kubbra visibly shocked. She replied "This is crazy bro."

Recently, she also addressed alimony rumours, claiming that she demanded Rs 60 crore in alimony. She clarified that their divorce was mutual. Reacting to alimony buzz, she stated, "This is wrong. Just because I am not saying anything, you will go on making things up? My parents have taught me to justify myself only to those I care about. Why waste time explaining to people who do not even know you?"

After meeting during lockdown and dated for 6-7 months, Dhanashree and Yuzvendra Chahal got married in December 2020. After almost four years of marriage, the couple filed for divorce by mutual consent in February 2025 and were officially granted a divorce in March.
