Coolie: Rajinikanth starrer Tamil massy action thriller movie is slated to be release in theatres on August 14. The film will have a massive box office clash with Hrithik Roshan’s War 2. Ahead of the big releases, there are buzz about both films. But Coolie has been gaining attention for various reasons. One of them is the advance booking which is set happen a week prior on August 8 in Kerala, confirmed by distributor HM Associates. The booking of the show will begin at 10:30 am on Friday.

Coolie Early Show Timings State Wise

Selected theatres will screen the film at 6 am on August 14 amid high expectations. Early shows in Kerala and Karnataka will begin at 6 am, while shows in Tamil Nadu will begin at 9 am. Shows in Tamil Nadu will begin only at 9 am as the state government cancelled the early morning shows after the death of a fan during Ajith Kumar’sThunivu’s first-day first-show in 2023.

Coolie Censor Certificate

Rajinikanth’s Tamil movie got A certificate by the Censor Board of Film Certification (CBFC). Several theatres in Tamil Nadu already gave a disclaimers that movie watchers have to be above 18 years of age or else will not be allowed to enter the theatre. In UK, the movie has been censored without any cuts. The first show is set to be held at 12:30 am (5 am IST). In Dubai, the first show will begin at 9:30 am.

As per reports, Coolie had already earned USD 2 million in pre-sales with USD 1.3 million from North America. The film’s distributors Prathyangira Cinemas have announced that over 50,000 tickets have been sold so far.

The plot revolves around a mysterious man, who takes a stand against a corrupt syndicate, which exploites and abuses the coolies of a coastal port town. The Tamil action thriller movie features Rajinikanth, Nagarjuna Akkineni, Soubin Shahir, Shruti Haasan, Upendra Rao, Pooja Hegde and Sathyaraj in key roles. It has been directed by Lokesh Kanagaraj.
