The Dalai Lama has accomplished yet another first in his remarkable career. On Sunday, February 1, the 68th Grammy Awards were held, and the Tibetan spiritual leader received his first Grammy. This is a historic event where pop culture and spirituality have come together uniquely. He defeated fierce competition from many people, including Grammy Awards host Trevor Noah, US Supreme Court Justice Ketanji Brown Jackson, and Milli Vanilli's Fab Morvan. Andra Day, Maggie Rogers, and Rufus Wainwright are all included on the album.
Dalai Lama, the ninety-year-old spiritual leader, received the Grammy Award for Best Audiobook, Narration, and Storytelling Recording for Meditations: The Reflections of His Holiness the Dalai Lama. The pre-telecast ceremony, which was shown live on YouTube, featured the presentation of this award.
