Dangal Star Zaira Wasim Announces Marriage; Shares First Picture With Husband: ‘Qubuul Hai x 3’

Zaira Wasim, best known for her role in Dangal, has announced her marriage. The actress, who quit Bollywood in 2019 to focus on her faith, returned to Instagram on Friday night to share the happy news with her followers. The Secret Superstar actress rose to fame with her debut in Dangal (2016), where she portrayed young Geeta Phogat, the daughter of Aamir Khan’s character. Her powerful performance earned her the National Film Award for Best Supporting Actress. She went on to star in Secret Superstar (2017), which followed the journey of a young girl aspiring to be a singer despite societal challenges. The film received widespread acclaim, further establishing her as a talented young star.

Zaira Wasimposted two photos from her private Nikah ceremony, captioned “Qubool Hai x3.” In the pictures, she is seen signing her marriage certificate, while another shot shows the newlyweds standing side by side with their backs to the camera. True to her preference for privacy, she did not reveal her husband’s name or face. For her special day, Zaira wore a vibrant red wedding outfit adorned with golden embroidery, keeping her look elegant and traditional.
