Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh became parents to their daughter Dua on September 8, 2024. A year ago, DeepVeer took it to their Instagram and shared the great news of entering parenthood with a post and wrote, “Welcome baby girl 8.9.2024… Deepika and Ranveer.” Now, their little munchkin turned 1 recently, and the actress celebrated the occasion in the best way possible. Deepika Padukone uploaded a photo of a homemade chocolate cake with the caption, “My love language? Baking a cake for my daughter’s 1st birthday!” The cake looked super delicious with a single golden candle and a table in the background decorated with flowers.

Netizens flooded the comments sections with their wishes and love for the toddler. The power couple of Bollywood welcomed their daughter last year, and since then, they have been very protective of their daughter, not allowing anybody to capture her on camera. Recently, their little angel was in the news as a fan tried to capture her on camera. A fan secretly filmed Dua’s face and leaked the video online, which spread on the internet like wildfire. In the video, Dua can be seen sitting in Deepika’s lap at the Mumbai airport as they travelled in a buggy. As soon as the actress noticed the fan, she intervened and tried to stop it. However, her protest didn’t stop the person from leaking the video online. Several social media users and DeepVeer’s fans condemned the act and requested the actors’ privacy.
