Deepika Padukone, one of Bollywood’s biggest stars, has added another feather to her cap. Known for her powerful performances and global appeal, the actress recently achieved a new milestone on social media. One of her Instagram reels has crossed a staggering 1.9 billion views, officially making it the most-watched reel on the platform worldwide. With this, Deepika has overtaken some of the platform’s biggest viral reels, including Hardik Pandya’s collaboration with BGMI (1.6 billion views), the popular “Flex Your New Phone” video (1.4 billion views), and even Cristiano Ronaldo’s reel, which has over 500 million views.

The reel, posted as part of a campaign with Hilton, where Deepika serves as a global brand ambassador, has gone viral across the globe. It’s part of Hilton’s “It Matters Where You Stay” campaign and features Deepika promoting the brand in a stylish and relatable way. As of 4 August, the reel had surpassed every other video on Instagram in terms of view count. Fans were quick to celebrate the moment in the comments section. One fan wrote, “1.9B views is no joke… Queen for a reason.” Another added, “2B views soon?  What an incredible achievement.” Many called it a proud moment not just for Deepika but for Indian cinema as a whole.

Meanwhile, the Pathaan actress currently has over 80 million followers on Instagram. She regularly shares updates from her personal life, behind-the-scenes glimpses of her work, fashion shoots, and brand partnerships. Her blend of elegance, humour, and authenticity has made her one of the most followed and admired Indian celebrities online.

Deepika Padukone’s Work Front

On the work front, Deepika was last seen in Singham Again, directed by Rohit Shetty. In the film, she played the role of DCP Shakti Shetty alongside a star-studded cast including Akshay Kumar, Ajay Devgn, Kareena Kapoor Khan, Tiger Shroff, and Jackie Shroff. She will next appear in Atlee’s upcoming action film AA22xA6, where she will star opposite South superstar Allu Arjun. Deepika is also part of the Hindi adaptation of The Intern, a comedy-drama thriller directed by Akshat Ghildial and Mitesh Shah, where she shares the screen with Amitabh Bachchan.
