The Delhi court prevented Mukherjee from carrying out the Australian court rulings from February 2024 that had divided the couple's global assets. These rulings, according to Dhawan, violated Indian marriage laws. The Delhi court agreed with him after considering the facts and said that he was not bound by the foreign court’s orders.
