Demon Slayer Infinity Castle Box Office Collection Day 3 (Japan): The highly anticipated anime movie Demon Slayer Infinity Castle has stormed the Japanese box office, setting new records. Demon Slayer Kimetsu no Yaiba has become a global hit since it first aired, attracting fans with its gripping storyline, emotional depth, and stunning animation. The anime, adapted from the popular Japanese manga, has already delivered four critically acclaimed seasons. But now, all eyes are on the latest addition to the saga – Demon Slayer: Infinity Castle. Instead of continuing the story in a regular season format, the creators released the much-hyped Infinity Castle arc as a full-length film trilogy. Demon Slayer Infinity Castle Japanese Box Office

Released in Japan on July 18, Demon Slayer Infinity Castle has made history in just three days. According to anime box office analyst Luiz Fernando, the anime movie earned a whopping ¥6.0 billion in local currency, making it the highest-grossing three-day opening weekend ever in Japan. To put this into perspective, the movie collected $12.8 million on Day 3 alone, bringing the three-day total to $40.4 million in USD terms.

Demon Slayer Infinity Castle Beats Mugen Train’s Record In Japan

Interestingly, Infinity Castle has already outperformed Demon Slayer Mugen Train in Japan’s local currency. While Mugen Train earned ¥4.62 billion in its first three days, Infinity Castle has crossed that with ease, setting a new benchmark for anime films in the country. Whether Infinity Castle can maintain its momentum in the coming weeks remains to be seen, but it’s off to a phenomenal start.

Meanwhile, Indian fans will have to wait a bit longer. While there’s a lot of buzz around the anime movie Demon Slayer Infinity Castle has not yet been released in India. However, it’s expected to hit Indian cinemas sometime in September 2025.

What Happens In Infinity Castle?

The anime movie follows Tanjiro Kamado, who continues his journey to become a powerful demon slayer alongside his friends Zenitsu and Inosuke. The Hashira, the most skilled swordsmen of the Demon Slayer Corps, also join forces for group training as they prepare to face their greatest enemy yet. The real twist begins when the main villain Muzan Kibutsuji invades the Ubuyashiki Mansion. As Tanjiro and the Hashira rush to stop him, Muzan traps them in a mysterious and terrifying space known as the Infinity Castle. This sets the stage for the final and most intense battle between the Demon Slayer Corps and Muzan’s powerful demon army. With breathtaking animation, emotional storytelling, and thrilling action, Demon Slayer Infinity Castle is already shaping up to be one of the biggest anime films of all time.
