The Demon Slayer: Infinity Castle movie is smashing records at the Japan box office since its debut on July 18, 2025. Directed by Haruo Sotozaki, the new Anime movie is outperforming Mugen Train's opening weekend, with historic figures and delivering an impressive feat at the global Imax weekend. It is a trilogy of Japanese animated action films based on the Infinity Castle arc from Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba by Koyoharu Gotouge, which has achieved global success since its premiere. Thanks to its gripping storyline and cinematic animation. The latest instalment has especially grabbed attention with its remarkable box office performance.

Demon Slayer Infinity Castle Day Wise Box Office Collection

Demon Slayer Infinity Castle has cast a spell on the box office in Japan in barely four days of its release. According to anime box office analyst Luiz Fernando's report, the animated feature earned a staggering JPY1.64 billion (USD 11.2 million) from over 1,155,637 admissions on opening day. Later, on Saturday, the film scored 1.84 billion (USD 12.5 million). On day 3, Demon Slayer Infinity Castle earned USD 13.8 million. For the four-day (Monday was a local holiday), the collection stands at JPY1.8 billion and USD 12.2 million.

Demon Slayer: Infinity Castle rakes in impressive numbers USD 37.5million in 3-day weekend and USD 49.7 million on day 4 holiday opening, with 5.2 million admissions recorded.

This makes Infinity Castle already the number 2 biggest film of the year in the market.

The results for the highly-anticipated anime film surpassed the launch weekend records set by hit Demon Slayer –Kimetsu no Yaiba The Movie: Mugen Train in October 2020 (based on a local currency basis). That film grossed 4.623 billion over its three-day release and exceeded USD 500 million globally. The new Anime movie has cemented its place as a box office powerhouse, as per Deadline report.

Demon Slayer: Infinity Castle, the latest addition in the franchise, sets the stage for the epic showdown between the Demon Slayer Corps and Kibutsuji Muzan. Directed by Sotozaki Haruo and produced by ufotable, the film saw the return of voice cast, including Hanae Natsuki, Kitō Akari, Shimono Hiro, and Matsuoka Yoshitsugu. After the buzz at the box office in Japan, Indian audience are eagerly awaiting the film's release. It is expected to hit Indian cinemas in September 2025.
