Suniel Shetty has delivered remarkable performances throughout his career, one of them being the cult classic Border. To carry forward his legacy, his son Ahan Shetty has joined the sequel, Border 2, which also stars Sunny Deol. However, this special moment took a drastic turn as people, including the producers, tried to stop him from doing the film. Suniel shared the back story and warned them to stop spreading negativity about his son.

Doting and proud father Suniel Shetty stood by his son Ahan when the world was trying to shift his focus from the project Border 2. In a conversation with Zoom, the actor shared how he asked his son to give it all for the movie, even if he had to let go of other films. He said, "I have told Ahan one thing, iske aage filmein karo nahin karo, ye film mein jaan laga dena. Because this is the film that will keep you alive, it will keep your father alive for decades to come. 26 January and 15 August ko humein dekhoge hi dekhoge."

Talking about this issue for the first time, Suniel revealed how negativity was spread, and paid articles were published against Ahan as he wanted to do Border 2.
He continued, "Ahan let go a lot of things for this film. Bohot saari cheezein uske haath se nikal gayi egos k chakkar mein. He was removed from films and then blamed. Rumours were spread that he comes with expensive bodyguards, paid articles were published. Aaj tak maine baat nahin ki hai, pehli baar bol raha hun. Stories were made up because Ahaan wanted to do Border and people wanted their films to be made. All this was manipulated."

Further reacting to this issue, the Hera Pheri actor issued a strict warning to those spreading fake stories. He added, "If this escalates further, I will hold a press conference and expose everyone. Jinki dhajjiyan udani hai uda dunga."
