Ranveer Singh has grabbed headlines for his heartfelt praise for veteran actor Rakesh Bedi while speaking about the massive success of Dhurandhar 2. The film, directed by Aditya Dhar, has opened to a thunderous response, with early box office trends hinting at a potential Rs 1000 crore run. During an interaction, Rakesh Bedi recalled a memorable moment from the sets of the film.
Sharing Ranveer Singh’s words, Rakesh Bedi said, “Ranveer said that if the film makes Rs 1,000 crore at the box office then Rs 500 crore will be because of Rakesh ji.” The statement quickly caught attention, reflecting the strong bond and respect between the two actors. Bedi, who plays the intriguing character of Jameel Jamali in the film, has been widely appreciated for his performance. His role carries a major twist that adds depth and intensity to the storyline, which explains why Ranveer credited him so generously. Despite the praise, Bedi admitted he felt humbled and even tried to downplay the comment, but Ranveer insisted he meant every word.

Rakesh Bedi also spoke about the warm environment on set. He shared, “What more can a character actor ask for? The director even said he would cry on my last day of shooting it created an amazing atmosphere throughout the film.” This highlights the strong camaraderie among the cast and crew during the making of the film.
Dhurandhar 2 features an ensemble cast including R. Madhavan, Sanjay Dutt, Arjun Rampal, and Sara Arjun. With its gripping narrative, large-scale action, and powerful performances, the film has quickly become one of the biggest releases of the year. The sequel builds on the success of the first instalment, which had already set high benchmarks at the box office. With record-breaking advance bookings and strong word of mouth, Dhurandhar 2 is expected to surpass its predecessor’s achievements.
