Dhurandhar: The makers of Dhurandhar have revealed the first look of Sanjay Dutt as ‘Jinn’, and the striking poster has already set social media abuzz. Shared by actor Ranveer Singh, the image shows Sanjay Dutt in an intense and powerful avatar, hinting at a dark and gripping storyline. Directed by Aditya Dhar, the highly awaited action thriller is scheduled to release in cinemas on 5th December 2025, while the official trailer will drop on 12th November.
Ranveer Singh, who plays the lead role, shared the poster with the caption, “The Jinn. 2 Days To Go! #DhurandharTrailer out on 12th November at 12:12 PM. In Cinemas 5th December.” Fans have been eagerly reacting to Dutt’s commanding new look, calling it one of his most striking appearances in recent years. Dhurandhar is written, directed, and produced by Aditya Dhar, with Jyoti Deshpande and Lokesh Dhar serving as co-producers. Alongside Ranveer Singh and Sanjay Dutt the film also features Akshaye Khanna, R. Madhavan, and Arjun Rampal in pivotal roles. With its mix of action, music, and emotion, Dhurandhar promises to be one of the biggest cinematic events of the year.

Dhurandhar’s title track has also added to the excitement. The high-energy number offers a glimpse of Ranveer Singh’s intense role and sets the tone for the adrenaline-filled entertainer. Featuring fast-paced action sequences, including Ranveer performing daring stunts with a gun, the track captures the essence of the film’s raw and bold world. Composed by Shashwat Sachdev and Charanjit Ahuja, the song is a fusion of modern hip-hop, Punjabi rhythm, and cinematic drama. Sung by Hanumankind, Jasmine Sandlas, Sudhir Yaduvanshi, Shashwat Sachdev, Muhammad Sadiq, and Ranjit Kaur, the track’s lyrics are written by Hanumankind, Jasmine Sandlas, and Babu Singh Maan. The unique blend of traditional and modern sounds promises to appeal to both older and younger audiences.

Meanwhile, talking about the music, composer and producer Shashwat Sachdev shared that reimagining the folk classic Na De Dil Pardesi Nu for Dhurandhar was both a privilege and a challenge. “The song was part of the film’s soul from the very beginning. Ojas Gautam and I built the sound around that spark until it became the heartbeat of the movie’s world,” he said. Sachdev also revealed that an impromptu late-night studio session with Aditya Dhar and Hanumankind led to a spontaneous rap verse that added a raw and instinctive touch to the track. “It’s a version that bridges generations nostalgic for those who remember the original, yet fresh and modern for today’s listeners,” he added.
