Other characters like Bapu Ji, Popatlal, Sodhi and Taarak Mehta have joined Anjali on this vacation, further fueling speculation about the duo's future on the show.

Dilip Joshi and Munmun Dutta, who play the iconic characters of Jethalal and Babita Ji in Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah, are not leaving the show, according to the production house, as per a report by ABP News. The duo's absence from the current plot has sparked rumors about their potential exit, but the makers have clarified that Jethalal is away on a business trip, while Babita Ji and Iyer are vacationing in Mahabaleshwar. This clears up the speculation surrounding their exit, reassuring fans that the beloved on-screen duo will continue to be a part of the show.

Having been part of TMKOC since its inception, Dilip Joshi and Munmun Dutta's chemistry has become an integral part of the show. Their characters have been widely loved by audiences and fans are eagerly awaiting their return to the screen.

In the past few months, several actors have quit the show, including Disha Vakani, Jennifer Mistry, Gurucharan Singh, among others. Recently, producer Asit Modi opened up about the same and said in a conversation with SCREEN, "I have never detached myself from the actors. If there is any issue, they can always contact me. I have always been very honest and kept the show first. I have never thought of any personal gains, so with incidents like these, I do get upset, but it’s a part of life."
