Prabhas currently has a lot on his plate majorly because of his upcoming lineup. The pan-India star recently surprised his fans by unveiling the December release date of The Raja Saab. The makers of much-awaited horror comedy have also shared the release date of an early teaser. Amidst all this, a new report about Prabhas' revised fee has been creating commotion.

Prabhas may have lowered his fees for The Raja Saab by Rs 50 crores, per a Siasat report. This move is thought to have been made by the Telugu actor in response to the lackluster reception of his 2023 movie, Adipurush, which was supported by the same production company, People Media Factory.

Prabhas, who typically asks Rs. 150 crores for a movie, is taking Rs. 100 crores for The Raja Saab.

What Went Wrong With Adipurush?

Adipurush was criticised for its contentious dialogue, inaccurate character portrayals, and subpar visual effects, even though movie was made on a 500 crore rupee budget. A number of political groups had also objected to some parts of the legendary drama. While opposition politicians criticized the movie, two cities in neighbouring Nepal banned any Bollywood productions until a line deemed 'objectionable' was removed.

Adipurush was supposed to live up to the high standards set by popular movies like Baahubali and Mani Ratnam's Ponniyin Selvan and SS Rajamouli's RRR, which were notable for their gripping plots, skillfully written dialogue, gorgeous sets, and impressive visual effects.
