Did Sandeep Reddy Vanga Slam Deepika Padukone For Leaking Script Of Prabhas’ Spirit And ‘Putting Down Younger Actor’ Triptii Dimri?

Filmmaker Sandeep Reddy Vanga, who is gearing up for his upcoming big project Spirit starring Prabhas, criticised an ‘unnamed actress’ for leaking the story of his upcoming movie. The Kabir Singh director also alleged that the actress had put down a younger female star and revealed the script of the film. He questioned her feminism in his recent tweet. Netizens predict that it is Deepika Padukone whom Vanga is talking about. Padukone has been dropped from Spirit due to her reportedly increasing demands. A few days after the rumours of a rift between the actress and Vanga, Triptii Dimri has been announced as the leading actress of the film. Check the tweet here.  

Sandeep Reddy Vanga wrote on X, “When I narrate a story to an actor, I place 100% faith. There is an unsaid NDA(Non Disclosure Agreement) between us. But by doing this, You've 'DISCLOSED' the person that you are.... Putting down a Younger actor and ousting my story? Is this what your feminism stands for ? As a filmmaker, I put years of hard work behind my craft & for me, filmmaking is everything. You didn't get it. You won't get it. You will never get it. Aisa karo.... Agli baar poori kahani bolna... kyunki mujhe jarra bhi farak nahi padtha. #dirtyPRgames I like this kahawath very much :-) खुंदक में बिल्ली खंबा नोचे !” 

Netizens react to the tweet and predict that Vanga might be hinting at Deepika Padukone. A user asked “Whom is he talking about? Deepika?” Another said, “You mean Deepika? Really? Unbelievable!” A tweet read, “@deepikapadukone have some shame!” 

Earlier, an insider told Pinkvilla, “While the storytelling of Spirit is that of a quintessential Telugu entertainer, that has all the hero moments, the filmmaker is bringing a twist to the genre by spinning in an ‘A-Rated Action’ twist. Apart from the big-scale violent action scenes, Spirit will have some bold sequences too.” 

It added, “Sandeep Reddy Vanga wanted to cast an actress, who would be comfortable with the sequences written on paper. He has promised a comfortable and professional atmosphere on the sets amidst the shoot to Tripti.” Sandeep and Tripti worked in the Ranbir Kapoor starrer Animal movie.

While sharing Triptii Dimri’s name as the leading actress of his film, Vanga wrote on Instagram, “The female lead for my film is now official :-)”
