Dipika Kakar, a renowned TV actress and vlogger has been diagnosed with a liver tumour. Her husband Shoaib Ibrahim shared the news in a YouTube vlog, disclosing that Dipika was having stomach ache these past few days. She was initially given treatment for an infection, but subsequent checks confirmed a tumour in the liver, which is the size of a tennis ball.
Dipika Kakar’s husband Shoaib Ibrahim shared in the vlog that the diagnosis came as a shock to them. "Our physician asked us to come again and when we saw him, he told us to have a CT scan and it revealed that Dipika has a tumour in the left lobe of her liver. It is larger in size like a tennis ball. It was quite shocking for us," he explained. Thankfully, the initial findings indicated no cancerous cells, but a few test results remain pending, he stated.
Meanwhile, Dipika will undergo surgery to get the tumour removed from her liver. Shoaib Ibrahim informed that doctors have recommended further examinations to see what type of tumour it is and how the treatment should go. "The main concern was whether it was a malignant tumour; initial reports reveal that it is non-cancerous," he said. Dipika will be consulted by a specialist in liver diseases and will follow a treatment plan, he further added.
On the other hand, Dipika Kakar’s husband Shoaib Ibrahim also expressed concern about their son, Ruhaan, who isn't accustomed to staying away from his mother for a long time. He asked fans to pray for Dipika's well-being and requested them to keep negativity at bay.
The Sasular Simar Ka star Dipika Kakar was recently in the news following the Pahalgam terror attack. She was in Kashmir with her husband Shoaib and had returned from the valley on the morning of the attack. In a YouTube vlog, Dipika opened up about the experience, saying, “When we landed in Delhi, that is when we came to know about the Pahalgam terror. We were only aware that something had happened, but after reaching Delhi we came to know about the severity of the situation.”
