Don 3 Update: The excitement around Don 3 is refusing to fade, and now the buzz has grown stronger with talk of a possible crossover involving Amitabh Bachchan, Shah Rukh Khan, and Ranveer Singh. Fans of the iconic franchise may get to see three generations of Don come together on screen for the very first time. While Ranveer Singh has already been confirmed as the new face of Don, reports suggest that both Amitabh Bachchan and Shah Rukh Khan have been approached to join the film. Though there is no official confirmation yet, the possibility of these legendary stars uniting has already sent social media into a frenzy. If it comes true, this collaboration could be one of the biggest cinematic moments in Bollywood history.

According to a report in India Today, both Amitabh Bachchan and Shah Rukh Khan are “considering the offer.” The idea of them sharing screen space with Ranveer Singh, who is set to carry forward the franchise, has been described as “a once-in-a-lifetime event.” Earlier reports also suggest some casting changes. Vikrant Massey, who was earlier attached, has stepped away, and Karanveer Mehra is being considered as his replacement. Meanwhile, Kiara Advani, who was initially expected to drop out due to her pregnancy, is reportedly back on board. Additionally Bollywood Hungama also reported, “There is a possibility that Priyanka Chopra may return to the Don franchise.” If true, this would mark her comeback to one of her most loved roles.

Meanwhile, the Don franchise holds a special place in Bollywood. Amitabh Bachchan starred in the 1978 cult classic directed by Chandra Barot, a role that defined his action image. Shah Rukh Khan revived the character for a new generation in 2006 and followed it up with a sequel in 2011. Now, Ranveer Singh stepping in marks a fresh era, and bringing all three together would be a milestone for Hindi cinema. Don 3 has been making headlines since its announcement. Farhan Akhtar, who rebooted the series in 2006 with Shah Rukh Khan, is returning to direct. This time, the film is being pitched as “bigger and bolder,” with more action, scale, and drama.
