Dude made Rs 10.50 crore on its third day, boosting its total revenue to Rs 30.35 crore, according to trade website Sacnilk. The movie has been steadily increasing at the box office, and the Diwali celebrations have given it a significant boost. With an opening of Rs 9.75 crore, which included Rs 6.5 crore from Tamil and Rs 3.25 crore from Telugu screenings, the Tamil movie got off to a great start. The movie earned Rs 10.3 crore on its second day, with Telugu contributing Rs 2.9 crore and Tamil Rs 7.4 crore. Overall, Dude's occupancy rate in Tamil was 55.20% on Sunday.

Dude has now eclipsed Pradeep Ranganathan's Dragon, which began at Rs 6.5 lakh, and Love Today, which had an opening gross of Rs 2.45 crore. Premalu, directed by Mamitha, had an opening of Rs 90 lakh. The movie is anticipated to rise at the box office, depending on word of mouth.

Dude will mostly rely on good word-of-mouth to keep things moving forward before the Diwali blockbusters start packing theaters, as weekday drops are anticipated. Pradeep Ranganathan's credibility as a star and storyteller at the box office could be further cemented if the picture maintains a solid hold throughout the week and ends up being a moderate hit.
