Renowned photographer Radhakrishnan Chakyat, who appeared in Dulquer Salmaan’s 2015 Malayalam movie Charlie, passed away at the age of 53 due to a heart attack. According to reports, Chakyat took his last breath on May 23. Radhakrishnan was widely known for his work as a fashion photographer, who started his career in 2000. He gained huge popularity in the photography industry. Dulquer Salmaan, who has shared screen space with Chakyat, mourned his death. The superstar took to his Instagram stories and wrote an emotional post for him.
Dulquer shared an image of Radhakrishnan Chakyat and captioned, “Our time and conversations together will forever stay with me.” He posted it on stories with several broken heart emojis.

Sharing the demise news, Radhakrishnan Chakyat team posted an Instagram stories which read, “It is with heavy hearts that we share the passing of our beloved mentor, friend, and inspiration Radhakrishnan Chakyat. A guiding light in our photography journey, he not only taught us how to see the world through the lens but also how to capture its soul.”
“We extend our heartfelt condolences to his family, friends, and all who were touched by his presence. May we continue to honor his memory by carrying forward the light he so generously shared with us all. -TEAM PIXEL VILLAGE.”

Radhakrishnan Chakyat began his independent photography career in 2000. He gained popularity very quickly with his unique blend of artistic vision and technical mastery. The photographer shot numerous campaigns for some of India’s leading brands and was a renowned fashion photographer.
