Esha Gupta has reassured fans about her safety after being stranded in Abu Dhabi amid the escalating conflict in the Middle East. The actor shared an update on social media, saying that although the situation is frightening, she and her team are safe. Tensions in the region intensified after reported joint strikes by the United States and Israel on Iran, followed by retaliatory missile attacks. Several Gulf nations, including the United Arab Emirates, temporarily shut their airspace, leaving many travellers stranded in cities such as Dubai and Abu Dhabi.
Taking to Instagram Stories, Esha Gupta apologised for not replying to messages earlier. She wrote, “To everyone checking in and messaging, I’m sorry for not replying. We are ok, we are safe! Times are scary, very tough. God is there to protect us.” She added that she trusts the authorities are doing their best to protect civilians and manage interceptions. The actor also expressed concern for others affected by the crisis. “Praying for everyone affected. All those stranded and safety for all above all. Hope to be home soon,” she wrote.

Meanwhile, Sonal Chauhan is reportedly stranded in Dubai after flights were cancelled. She appealed to Prime Minister Narendra Modi on social media, seeking assistance for a safe return to India. Indian badminton star PV Sindhu also shared her experience of hearing explosions near Dubai airport, describing the situation as tense and frightening. She later confirmed that she had been moved to a safer location.
The Indian Embassy in Abu Dhabi has issued advisories for citizens and is coordinating with local authorities and airlines to assist stranded passengers.
