Bigg Boss 19: The controversy around Bigg Boss 19 has taken a legal turn as Farrhana Bhatt’s family has sent a formal legal notice to Amaal Mallik’s aunt, Roshan Garry Bhinder, for allegedly calling the actress a “terrorist” during a recent YouTube interview. The incident has stirred strong reactions online, with Farrhana’s supporters expressing outrage over the comment. Both Farrhana and Amaal are contestants on Bigg Boss 19, hosted by Salman Khan, but the matter has now moved beyond the show and into legal territory.

On Wednesday, Farrhana Bhatt’s family confirmed the news through a post shared on her social media account. “Our team confirms that a formal legal notice has been issued following defamatory remarks made publicly,” the post read. The notice, sent to Roshan, the YouTube channel Fifafooz, and YouTube India, demands the immediate removal of the offending video, a public apology, and Rs 1 crore in compensation for the emotional and reputational harm caused. The statement from her legal team also mentioned that copies of the notice have been forwarded to the National Commission for Women and the Maharashtra State Women’s Commission. The family stated that they had chosen “to respond with dignity and legal recourse, rather than engage in online mudslinging.”

Meanwhile, the controversy began when Roshan Garry Bhinder, in an interview with Fifafooz, made several harsh remarks about Farrhana. During the conversation, she referred to Farrhana as “evil” and a “terrorist”, adding, “I don’t want to say this, but she’s like those demons who laugh after sucking people’s blood.” These comments quickly went viral, sparking widespread criticism from fans and viewers, many of whom called the statement disrespectful and communal in nature. Farrhana’s family said the remarks were “outrageous” and deeply distressing, especially as they targeted her character on a public platform while she was participating in a reality show.
