Chhaava
Chhaava, released on 14th February 2025, is a period drama. The movie starred Vicky Kaushal and Rashmika Mandanna in the lead. Directed by Laxman Utekar, the movie is seet against the backdrop of wartime India, it explores love and sacrifice during intense conflict. According to Sacnilk, the film netted Rs 31 crore on its opening day. By Day 9, it reached approximately Rs 286.75 crore in India. Its remarkable box office performance positions it among the top earners of 2025.
Saiyaara
Directed by Mohit Suri, Saiyaara was launched on 18th July 2025. The movie starred debutants Ahaan Panday and Aneet Padda, weaving a romantic drama set across grand and intimate moments. According to Sacnilk reports the film opened strongly with rs 21.5 crore, climbed to Rs 26 crore on Saturday, and peaked at Rs 35.75 crore on Sunday, surpassing ₹100 crore in just four days.
Housefull 5
The latest instalment in the comedy franchise, Housefull 5, features Akshay Kumar, Nana Patekar, Jacqueline Fernandez, and others, and hit screens in June 2025. According to Sacnilk data, the movie closed its first week at Rs 127.25 crore. By Day 9, it had reached Rs 142.25 crore, with a total domestic gross of Rs 160.7 crore.
Raid 2
Raid 2 movie features Ajay Devgn and Vaani Kapur in the lead. The movie is directed by Raj Kumar Gupta and is a 2025 crime thriller sequel. According to Sacnilk it earned Rs 19.25 crore on opening day and by Day 17 totalled Rs 143.5 crore net in India. As of Day 24, its domestic gross was around Rs 159.7 crore, with a worldwide total near Rs 237.5 crore. The film was classed as a hit movie of 2025. The movie is now available to watch on Netflix.
Sikandar
Released on Eid 2025, Sikandar starred Salman Khan and Rashmika Mandanna in this action-packed entertainer. According to Sacnilk reports the movie collected Rs 90.25 crore in its first week. Its overall India net reached about Rs 110.36 crore, with a global haul of Rs 184.9 crore.
Sky Force
Action movie Sky Force, starred Akshay Kumar and Veer Pahariya in lead role. The movie premiered on Republic Day 2025 and was massive hit. According to Sacnilk the movie collected Rs 86.5 crore on first-week. In the second week, it earned Rs 3 crore on Friday reaching a domestic net of Rs 109.8 crore. Its total India gross sat at roughly Rs 131 crore, marking a successful run for a mid-budget action title.
With more big-ticket releases lined up for the rest of the year like Janhvi Kapoor’s Param Sundari, Ajay Devgn’s Son of Sardaar 2, and the much-anticipated War 2 starring Hrithik Roshan and Kiara Advani, it’ll be interesting to see which of these upcoming films join the coveted Rs 100 crore club in 2025.
