Final Destination Bloodlines India Box Office Collection Day 5: The sixth installment of the iconic horror franchise is holding steady in India since its theatrical release on May16, 2025. Kaitlyn Santa Juana’s movie has received positive reviews from critics and is being lauded for its inventive scares and narrative depth. The stronghold of the movie at the box office indicates growing audience interest in India and globally.
Final Destination Bloodlines, after collecting Rs 4.35 crore on its opening day, including the previous night’s previews, climbed over the weekend with Friday earnings peaking at Rs 5 crore, Saturday at Rs 5.25 crore and Sunday at Rs 6 crore, according to Sacnilk. The movie’s performance in India reflects its global success, with USD 102 million grossed worldwide so far. On its fifth day, the supernatural horror title is expected to pull in approx Rs 3.5 crore.

Meanwhile, the franchise has evolved significantly since Final Destination 5 in 2011. After its box-office success, this fresh movie was developed as a reimagining set in the world of first-responder universe, with a new take but maintaining the signature suspense and elaborate death scenes. The original plan was to stream it on HBO Max, Warner Bros. Pictures changed the plan in March 2024 by releasing it in theaters.
The story centers on Kaitlyn Santa Juana, a college student who inherits her grandmother's power of predicting deaths. With the foreboding visions becoming stronger, she is warned that death is next targeting after her own family. She is now compelled to outrun time to change fate. Alongside Santa Juana, the movie also features Teo Briones, Richard Harmon, Owen Patrick Joyner, Anna Lore, Brec Bassinger, and franchise staple Tony Todd.

On the other hand, the box office reception of the movie has surprised everyone by earning USD 51 million in its opening weekend — a series high in its home country. With USD 102 million earned worldwide untill now, the performance of the movie in India is in congruence with this worldwide success. If this trend continues, Final Destination: Bloodlines will emerge as one of the world's most successful horror movies.
