Gaddar Film Awards 2025 Winners List: The Telangana government has announced the winners of the Gaddar Film Awards, which were instituted to recognise and honour outstanding contributions to the Telugu film industry. The awards were named after revolutionary balladeer Gaddar. The announcement was made by jury chairperson and popular actress Jayasudha, who addressed the media alongside Film Development Corporation Chairman Dil Raju. Jayasudha stated that a total of 1,248 nominations were received across various categories. The Committee Kurrollu was chosen under the category of Feature Film On National Integration, Communal Harmony, and Social Upliftment Of Depressed Classes.
The Gaddar Awards was announced after a gap of approximately 14 years. In January 2024, Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy announced the government’s decision to institute annual awards to members of the film industry, poets, and artists. The Gaddar Telangana Film Awards ceremony is likely to take place at HITEX, Hyderabad, on June 14. Deputy Chief Minister Mallu Bhatti Vikramarka announced the date of the ceremony earlier this month. The awards ceremony promises to be a grand affair, with the who's who of the Telugu film industry in attendance.
