Game Changer Box Office Failure: Producer Dil Raju, known for delivering hit movies in Telugu cinema, recently opened up about the commercial failure of Ram Charan and Kiara Advani-led Game Changer. The movie, which was expected to be a blockbuster, ended up being a disappointment at the box office. However, Dil Raju revealed that he knew it before the theatrical release. Here's what he said about the underperformance of Game Changer.

Game Changer producer in a recent conversation with actor Nithiin during the promotion of their upcoming film Thammudu revealed how he sensed that the film's release in January was going to lead to financial loss. Dil Raju said, “I started realising that the film releasing on January 10 (Game Changer) was going to damage me financially. Even the distributors were feeling low."

This is not the first time Dil Raju has talked about Game Changer and his decision. Earlier in a interview with M9 News, he admitted his fault during the production of the movie. He stated, “In my film career, I had never worked with such big directors like Shankar. Game Changer was my first wrong step. I should have clearly mentioned my points in the contract and moved into production, but I didn’t. It was my mistake."

Game Changer Box Office Report

Dil Raju produced Game Changer, which didn't meet the expectations despite its Pongal release. Ram Charan and Kiara Advani starrer earned a worldwide gross collection of Rs 186.25 crore, while it stands at Rs 131.17 crore net in India.

About Game Changer Movie

Game Changer centres around a transformative journey of Ram Nandan, a UPSC aspirant to become a District Magistrate. He takes on corruption and crime in Visakhapatnam. Despite facing brutal attacks plotted by Minister Bobbili Mopidevi's men, Ram remains focused on his mission to clean the system. The film also unfolds the backstory of Ram, taking into account his struggles with anger issues during his medical school days and how his encounter with Deepika changed him and encouraged him to join the civil services.

After its theatrical run on January 10, the movie premiered on Amazon Prime Video in Telugu, Tamil, Malayalam and Kannada versions. The Hindi version is available on ZEE5.
