American singer and songwriter John Mayer is finally coming to India. The multiple Grammy Award winner will be making his debut in the country next year. Mayer, known for his hit tracks like Gravity, Vultures, No Such Thing and Why Georgia has shared his excitement about the concert, stating that India has long been on his list of places to play. When And Where Will John Mayer Perform In India?
Mayer will perform a one-night-only solo set on January 22, 2026, at the iconic Mahalaxmi Racecourse in Mumbai, marking a cultural milestone for the country's live music and his first-ever performance in India.
Sharing his excitement about the upcoming concert, Mayer said in a statement, "India has long been on my list of places to play, not just for the vibrancy of its culture but for the way music lives in the everyday lives of people here. To finally perform in Mumbai feels both humbling and exhilarating."
The event is being produced and promoted by BookMyShow Live.

The tickets will go live in October. A limited pre-sale for RuPay credit card holders opens at 12 PM IST on October 12, 2025, while general sales begin at 1 PM IST on October 14, 2025, exclusively on BookMyShow.

With a career in the music industry spanning over two decades, Mayer has sold more than 20 million albums, marking a significant milestone in his journey. He has delivered some timeless tracks, including Daughters, Slow Dancing in a Burning Room, Waiting On the World to Change and many more. He has also collaborated with many International artists such as Eric Clapton, B.B. King, Ed Sheeran and Alicia Keys.
With this performance, Mayer joins the list of international artists heading to India in 2026, including rock legends Linkin Park and prog metal titans Dream Theater.
