Hera Pheri 3: The iconic comedy franchise Hera Pheri is officially back with its third instalment, making fans go bonkers with excitement. Released in 2000, the movie Hera Pheri became an instant cult classic because of its outrageous story, amusing characters and the perfect comic timing of the original cast.  After years of being put on the back burner, Hera Pheri 3 is finally happening with the original cast: Akshay Kumar, Suniel Shetty, and Paresh Rawal reprising their roles. The movie will be directed by Priyadarshan, who keeps the legacy of the Hera Pheri franchise going.

Earlier, reports suggested Paresh Rawal’s exit from the film, which was compounded by speculation about a potential rift between Rawal and Akshay Kumar. But later the OMG actor cleared this up in a podcast when he said that all was well, and there was no issue with him and the team. "All's well that ends well," he said and added that "the trio is very much there." So the trio are set to reprise their roles in the movie as Baburao (Paresh Rawal), Raju (Akshay Kumar), and Shyam (Suniel Shetty). Paresh Rawal's Fee in Hera Pheri Movie

Paresh Rawal, the senior-most member of the cast, was already a respected name in Indian theatre and cinema before Hera Pheri. He reportedly earned around Rs 16 to Rs 17 lakh for the first film. Today, he is one of the most sought-after actors in the comedy genre. For Hera Pheri 3, reports suggest he is being paid a whopping Rs 15 crore.

Akshay Kumar’s Fee in Hera Pheri Movie

Back in 2000, Akshay Kumar was mainly known for action roles. Hera Pheri helped him break into comedy and changed the course of his career. He was reportedly paid Rs 20 lakh for the first film. Now, Akshay is one of the highest-paid actors in India, charging anywhere from Rs 60 crore to Rs 145 crore per movie. Sometimes, he even opts for a profit-sharing model instead of a fixed fee.

Suniel Shetty’s Fee in Hera Pheri Movie

Suniel Shetty, who played the role of Shyam, was also paid around Rs 19 to Rs 20 lakh for the original film. Since then, he’s acted in various roles across genres. Though his exact fee for Hera Pheri 3 isn’t known, reports suggest it’s between Rs 2 and Rs 5 crore.

Hera Pheri Movie Budget

The original Hera Pheri was made on a modest budget of under Rs 7 crore and collected around Rs 24.5 crore at the box office. Tabu, who played the female lead, was reportedly paid Rs 8 to Rs 9 lakh. It’s still unclear whether she will return for the third film.
