Housefull 5 Box Office Collection Day 16: With Aamir Khan's emotionally charged Sitaare Zameen Par gaining traction, Akshay Kumar's multistar comedy escapade Housefull 5 is up against fierce competition at the box office. Housefull 5 made just Rs 2.25 crore on its sixteenth day (3rd Saturday) in theaters, for a total of Rs 172.35 crore.

Housefull 5 made Rs 127 crore in its first week and Rs 40.85 crore in its second, which was an incredible start. Akshay Kumar, Abhishek Bachchan, Riteish Deshmukh, Sanjay Dutt, Jackie Shroff and Nana Patekar starrer, which was directed by Tarun Mansukhani, released on June 6, 2025.  

Housefull 5 had an incredible start but as the movie's third weekend drew near, its performance started to drop. The third-weekend clash has obviously slowed the movie's pace, even though it is still edging closer to the Rs 175 crore milestone. The family demographic, which served as a solid foundation for the Housefull franchise, seems to be drawn to Aamir Khan's emotional drama.

A rich billionaire (Ranjeet) passes away and leaves Jolly, his heir, his fortune. Abhishek Bachchan, Riteish Deshmukh, and Akshay Kumar are the three Jollys on the trip, which is the twist. When a doctor discovers who Jolly really is, they are brutally killed. Thus, Sonam Bajwa, Nargis Fakhri, and Jacqueline Fernandez, along with their girlfriends, are all thought to be involved in the murder right away.

The franchise's fifth installment is being discussed for its novel release strategy of offering two distinct endings. The film's two endings, which are promoted as Housefull 5A and 5B, feature two distinct murderers at the heart of the main murder mystery.

Spoiler Alert!

The murderer is revealed to be Jalbhushan, also known as Jolly, played by Abhishek Bachchan in both versions of Housefull 5. Additionally, he is portrayed in both versions as a collaborator with the true mastermind. However, the identity of that mastermind is different.

Housefull 5A - The mastermind is Dev (Fardeen Khan), Ranjeet's son, who desired to keep all of his father's 69 billion pound fortune for himself. He convinced the Jolly to join him in this crime.

Housefull 5B - The second part deviates a little since it exposes Maya (Chitrangada Singh), the CFO of Ranjeet's businesses, as the mastermind, who joins hands with Jolly.
