Hridayapoorvam Day 14 Box Office: Mohanlal’s latest release Hridayapoorvam continues to show steady performance at the box office even after two weeks. Directed by Sathyan Anthikad, the family drama has managed to hold its ground despite strong competition, grossing over Rs 33 crore in Kerala alone by the end of its 14th day. Co-starring Malavika Mohanan, Sangeeth Prathap, and Sangita Madhavan Nair, the Malayalam movie has not only become a safe venture financially but has also entered the list of 2025’s top five highest-grossing Malayalam films in India. Its positive word-of-mouth has kept audiences engaged well beyond the opening week.

Hridayapoorvam opened on a strong note, earning Rs 3.25 crore on its first day. Over its opening weekend, Hridayapoorvam saw healthy collections, finishing the first week with Rs 19.30 crore. The momentum continued into the second weekend, where it added another Rs 10.20 crore to its total. By the end of its second Wednesday, the movie had amassed Rs 33.50 crore gross in Kerala, according to industry estimates. At the all-India box office, Hridayapoorvam has collected Rs 32.48 crore net. With these numbers, the Malayalam movie has surpassed Kunchacko Boban’s Officer On Duty (Rs 31.6 crore net), becoming the 5th highest-grossing Malayalam film of 2025. The top four positions currently belong to Thudarum (Rs 122 crore), L2: Empuraan (Rs 106.64 crore), Lokah: Chapter 1 – Chandra (Rs 97.01 crore), and Alappuzha Gymkhana (Rs 44.27 crore).

Although it is unlikely that Hridayapoorvam will climb any higher on the list, its achievement is still remarkable given the stiff competition from Lokah, which has been a massive blockbuster. Despite facing reduced footfalls because of this rival release, the Mohanlal starrer has managed to hold its own, maintaining strong weekday trends. Made on a budget of around Rs 30 crore, the film has already recovered its costs and earned a small profit, recording a return on investment of Rs 2.48 crore. While the profit margins are modest compared to other big hits, the film’s success proves Mohanlal’s enduring appeal and Sathyan Anthikad’s ability to deliver relatable, heartwarming cinema.
