Hridayapoorvam OTT Release: Mohanlal and Malavika Mohanan starrer Malayalam romantic comedy drama movie initially released in theatres on August 28. The film received positive responses from the audience and the critics. But it could not perform as per the expectations at the box office. After its theatrical run, Hridayapoorvam is set to entertain the audience all over again but this time through OTT. The Malayalam movie is slated to be released on JioHotstar on September 26 in Malayalam, Telugu, Hindi, Tamil and Kannada. The streaming platform made the announcement through a social media post and wrote, “#Hridayapoorvam will be streaming from September 26 on JioHotstar.” So, get ready to watch the film at home this festive season on OTT.

What Is Hridayapoorvam All About?

The movie is about a man named Sandeep, who is a heart transplant recipient, attends his donor’s daughter Haritha's engagement party. But his unplanned stay draws a connection with the family. As the time flew, he fell in love with Haritha. The movie stars Malavika Mohanan, Mohanlal, Sangita Madhavan Nair, Sangeeth Prathap, Meera Jasmine, Sangeetha Krish, Antony Perumbavoor and Althaf Salim in key roles. It has been directed by Sathyan Anthikad and produced by Antony Perumbavoor. The film has a runtime of 2 hours and 32 minutes.

Earlier in a Facebook post, Basil Joseph shared his experience working with Mohanlal and Sathyan. He said, "Working with these two legends has truly been a dream come true. Pure nostalgia — most of my childhood favourites were from this iconic pair. Years later, to play even a small character in their film Hridhayapoorvam was an absolute honour.”

What Is The Budget Of Hridayapoorvam?

As per reports, the film has been made on a budget of Rs 30 crore. After much struggle, the movie managed to cross the budget mark in India.

What Is The Box Office Collection Of Hridayapoorvam?

As per Sacnilk, the movie had a total collection of Rs 37.03 crore in India after 19 days of release. Hridayapoorvam had a worldwide collection of Rs 72 crore. The overseas collection is said to be Rs 28.8 crore and the India gross collection is Rs 43.2 crore.
