Shahid Kapoor’s Farzi co-star Bhuvan Arora recently weighed in on the nepotism debate. The actor believes that if a person belongs to the film family, then they have better access to people. He asserted that getting a breakthrough is difficult for outsiders. He shared that for years, he would never message people, sometimes out of arrogance. Bhuvan stressed the fact that access is easier for some insiders, but once actors are in front of the camera, the journey is then equally hard for everyone.
In an interview with The Free Press Journal, Bhuvan Arora said, “The access is just a little harder. The path is slightly longer, I feel. But I don’t think it’s easy for anybody, yaar. End of the day, the opportunity might be different in terms of timeline – kisi ko jaldi mil jayega, kisi ko late mil jayega. But once you reach the set, everyone has to put in the same effort. If you don’t, there’s no benefit."
The actor added, “If you belong to a film family, you probably have better access to people. You can reach out more easily. As somebody who doesn’t come from the industry, people are of different natures. For years, I would never message people, sometimes out of arrogance, sometimes because I felt awkward. But now I look back and think, why not? I should have. Jab jaago, tabhi savera. So yes, access is easier for some, but once you’re in front of the camera, the journey is equally hard for everyone. You have to prove your worth."

Raghav Juyal also weighed in on the nepotism debate. Earlier, in an interview with Ranveer Allahbadia, Raghav Juyal said, “There is a grocery shop in Dalanwala. A father was sitting there, and now his son sits there. No one is complaining about the nepo kid there. He got the shop easily. He is handling the money, too. It happens everywhere a little."
“I don’t understand why people complain. I don’t think you should complain. Just work hard on yourself. Get up, work hard, and become a somebody that you can have your own little nepo kids," Juyal added.
