Samantha Ruth Prabhu and director Raj Nidimoru have finally tied the knot following months of dating rumours. The wedding ceremony was a private affair with family members and close friends in attendance at the Isha Yoga Center in Coimbatore. Samantha confirmed the news by sharing the first photos of the wedding, leaving fans buzzing on social media. Amidst all, some inside pictures of Samatha and Raj’s traditional Bhuta shudhi vivaha ceremony are now going viral. From ancient yogic tradition to Sattvic Food, the couple united on an elemental, energetic, and spiritual level.

Taking to Instagram handle, Samantha’s close friend and fashion designer, Shilpa Reddy, shared a series of inside pictures from the couple's wedding ceremony with significance behind Bhuta shudhi vivaha. The album begins with a photo of the newlyweds posing with Shilpa. One image that grabbed everyone's attention was of the loverbirds looking into each other's eyes while sharing a heartwarming moment.

Shilpa also shared a glimpse of the ceremonial arrangements made for the traditional wedding. The pictures featured turmeric-coated coconuts, betel leaves, kumkum, flowers, and other items needed for the sacred rituals. She also gave a close-up of Sam and Raj's wedding menu, which consisted of a Sattvic feast.

What Is Bhuta Shudhi Vivaha?

Sharing the wedding photos of Samantha and Raj, Shilpa Reddy explained the meaning of Bhuta Shuddhi Vivaha. She described it as a "form of consecration for marriages" rooted in an ancient yogic tradition. In another Instagram story, she wrote, "The beauty and the profoundness of this ceremony allows a couple to enter into union on an elemental level beyond just physical, emotional or mental bonding, seeking a deeper, more foundational unity."

She further shared that the beauty of Bhuta shudhi vivaha is that the couples whether previously unmarried or already married, can opt for this ceremony; it's not limited to first-time weddings. It can also be done to"renew vows," as she described.

Samantha And Raj Nidimoru Wedding Announcement

The actress shared photos from the wedding ceremony, featuring her in a red silk saree accessorised with gold traditional jewellery. Samanth kept her hair tied in a bun and adorned with a gajra. Raj Nidimoru, on the other hand, wore a classic kurta pyjama set. Along with the photos, the Shaakuntalam actor captioned her post with the wedding date, 01.12.2025, alongside two heart emojis.
