American rapper Drake has made a significant bet on Royal Challengers Bengaluru ahead of IPL 2025 finale match. RCB is all set to play against Punjab Kings and the match will take place at the Narendra Modi Stadium on June 3.
Drake has generated significant buzz in the sports world by placing a bet on Royal Challengers Bengaluru through the crypto-betting platform Stake. If RCB emerges victorious and lifts the trophy, Drake stands to win a staggering amount of Rs 11.23 crore, making this wager one of the most talked-about aspects ahead of the highly anticipated final match. The excitement surrounding Drake's bet has added an extra layer of anticipation to the contest.
On the other hand, Punjabi singer and rapper Karan Aujla has put a massive bet of Rs 3.1 crore in Punjab Kings, which is owned by Preity Zinta. Aujla will win a whopping amount of Rs 5.92 crore if Punjab Kings wins the IPL finals.
What is Drake Curse?
It is a superstition surrounding athletes/teams losing after associating with Drake. The curse has been named after Drake post repeated instances of teams/players he supports losing crucial games. Various high-profile athletes and teams have lost games after public association with Drake. Some of the big names include Conor McGregor, Serena Williams, among others.

According to the Central Law, Public Gambling Act of 1867 prohibits gambling houses, but doesn't address online betting. Howeverm several states have strict restrictions or bans on online gambling, especially online betting. Indians can access international betting platforms like Stake, but laws vary by state. It is pertinent to note that Telangana and Andhra Pradesh have banned all forms of online gambling.
