Maa Vande: Bollywood actress Raveena Tandon is reportedly gearing up to take on one of the most powerful and emotional roles of her career. She might play the role of Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s late mother, Heeraben Modi, in the upcoming biopic Maa Vande. Directed by Kranthi Kumar Ch, the film will star Malayalam actor Unni Mukundan as PM Modi, tracing his life’s journey from childhood to becoming the leader of the nation. According to reports, Raveena has already begun preparing for the part, which will require her to undergo a complete physical and emotional transformation.

As per a Bollywood Hungama report, Raveena was deeply moved by the story and instantly drawn to the character of Heeraben Modi. The actress reportedly found inspiration in Heeraben’s strength, humility and resilience, particularly in how she overcame hardships after losing her mother at a young age. The report revealed, “Maa Vande focuses on the mother-son relationship. It highlights Heeraben’s sacrifices and her unyielding role in shaping Modi’s life. Raveena’s portrayal of Heeraben is expected to be one of the highlights of the film, marking her return to powerful, performance-driven cinema.
