Three years later, Stranger Things Season 5 finally arrived on Netflix. Unlike previous seasons, this time, makers chose to release the finale season in two parts, but it still created the hype more than ever. Stranger Things Volume 1 is now streaming on streaming on Netflix and it staright away takes us to Hawkins in the fall of 1987. This time, Eleven (Millie Bobby Brown) is stronger than ever and she along with entire team, including Mike, Hopper, Nancy, Will, Lucas, Max, Dustin, Steve, among others, are all set to burn down the upside down in order to end Vecna's terror. If you are a Stranger Things fan and are eager to watch Volume 1, let us know if it is worth the hype.

Is Stranger Things 5 Worth The Hype?

Stranger Things Season 5 Volume 1 is definitely worth the hype. The season starts with an intriguing sequence from 1987 where Will Byers struggles to save himself from the Demogorgon (predatory humanoid creature from Vecna's Upside Down). Will is at the center of conflict. He keeps on recalling his long-standing connection to the Upside Down. Will continues to get unsettling visions and thoughts that torture him. The season confirms that his connection with Upside Down did not completely end at the time. Well, Will is able to channel Vecna's power to control the Demogorgon as he everytime knows the latter's location. The focus on Will Byers raises the show's stakes immediately as he has been one of the most-favourite characters from the show and the audience has seen him struggling since episode one.

The focus shifts to Nancy's family who is the first target of Vecna, mainly Holly Wheeler. Though Demogorgon succeeds to capture her, but Eleven and Hopper are destined to save her and others who are under Vecna's radar. The whole scene where the team fights Demogorgon is too good to miss. The scene is truly a stark return to the show's dark roots. As the Demogorgon seems to be immortal, despite several efforts, he escapes every now and then. The scene where he takes away Holly to the Upside Down is too intense that it gives genuine chills.
