Jack Ryan Ghost War On OTT: The world of espionage is back as John Krasinski returns as Jack Ryan in Tom Clancy's Jack Ryan Ghost War. Expanding the popular franchise, this new project trades the usual season-based television format for a full-length feature film. It brings a fresh global mission, new allies, and a dangerous political conspiracy.

Produced by Paramount Pictures, Skydance Media, and Amazon MGM Studios, the Hollywood movie has a runtime of 1 hour and 45 minutes. It is designed to work perfectly as a standalone spy thriller for new viewers while continuing the familiar tone fans love.

Jack Ryan Ghost War Ending Explained: What Was Project Starling?

As the team investigates a major assassination, Greer reveals the truth about 'Project Starling'. This was a mysterious black-ops network that initially worked as a counterterrorism unit. Although it was supposedly shut down after an asset died, a man named Liam Crown had been running it secretly behind everyone's back.

Crown believed he was protecting the world by doing whatever it took. To prove that his rogue network was necessary, Crown had been actively reactivating old terrorist groups to manufacture global instability.

Jack and Emma Marlowe eventually realise that Crown wants a hidden server containing all his sensitive operational data, which was hidden by an asset named Nigel. Jack decides to finish Nigel's work by travelling to Dubai to transmit the secret data live to the CIA.

In a shocking final twist, Jack and Emma discover that Andrew Spear from MI6 has been working alongside Crown all along. A massive action-packed showdown takes place in Dubai as Jack's team faces off against Crown's men. Just as Jack and Emma are almost killed, Greer arrives in a helicopter and shoots Crown dead.

Tom Clancy's Jack Ryan Ghost War premiered globally on Amazon Prime Video on May 20, 2026. For fans tuning in from India, the film became available to stream from 12:30 p.m. Indian Standard Time on the same day.

The Hollywood movie features a stellar cast. John Krasinski reprises his role as the iconic CIA operative. He is joined by returning stars Wendell Pierce as James Greer, Michael Kelly as Mike November, and Betty Gabriel as Elizabeth Wright. Sienna Miller also joins the franchise as MI6 operative Emma Marlowe.
