Jailer 2 Ending Explained: Nelson Dilipkumar’s Jailer 2 reaches its climax as Tiger Muthuvel Pandian (Rajinikanth) takes on the idol-smuggling syndicate that threatens his family. The main villain, Chakri Kalpak (Mithun Chakraborty), makes a desperate move to destroy Tiger, which accidentally leaves his own daughter Kaantha (Vidya Balan) severely injured.
Bodhi (SJ Suryah) attempts to flee the country in a private jet, but Tiger stops him with the help of his allies: Narasimha (Shiva Rajkumar), Mathew (Mohanlal), and Kamdev (Jackie Shroff).
Believing his family is finally safe, Tiger surrenders to the police. He admits to killing his son Arjun (Vasanth Ravi) from the first film and leads officers to the site. He is placed in handcuffs in front of his family. However, while in custody, an officer hands him a phone containing a text from Kaantha.
Now using a wheelchair, Kaantha sends a message that appears harmless on the surface but subtly indicates that Tiger's family is still not completely safe.
Vijay Sethupathi's Surprise Cameo
Jailer 2 ending delivers a major twist when the police officer handing Tiger the phone asks him to reply to Kaantha. When the officer turns around, he is revealed to be Vijay Sethupathi.
This unexpected cameo connects Vijay Sethupathi’s character to Kaantha, the Kalpak family, and the wider criminal network. It immediately flips the narrative, showing that the danger facing Tiger's family is far from over.
