According to Sacnilk, ater opening to a robust response on its first day, Jana Nayagan witnessed a sharp 50% drop on its first Friday. However, the film registered a solid 34.8% jump on its first Saturday, signaling healthy audience footfalls over the weekend.

About Jana Nayagan 

Directed by H. Vinoth, Jana Nayagan is an official adaptation of the 2023 Telugu hit Bhagavanth Kesari.

The narrative follows Thalapathy Vetri Kondan (Vijay), a former convict and upright ex-police officer who takes on the responsibility of raising Viji (Mamitha Baiju) to overcome fear and join the Indian Army. Their lives are upended when a past antagonist, John Himmler (Bobby Deol), re-emerges to pose a severe threat.

The ensemble cast also stars Pooja Hegde, Gautham Vasudev Menon, Prakash Raj, and Priyamani.
