Janhvi Kapoor and Sidharth Malhotra are all set to enthrall audiences with a cross-cultural love story in the highly anticipated movie Param Sundari. The movie is already generating a significant buzz ahead of its release on August 29. Recently, the makers left fans intrigued by dropping a new song, Bheegi Saree, with the iconic voices of Shreya Ghoshal and Adnan Sami. Following the song's release, the makers also shared a BTS video featuring Janhvi preparing for the shoot- from working out, doing Pilates sessions and getting ready for the song. While song shoots usually take several days, the shoot for Bheegi Saree was wrapped up in just 9 hours.

In the video, Janhvi gives fans a glimpse into how she preps for the shoot, especially for the song Bheegi Saree. From munching delicious cuisines and getting her hair and makeup done in a vanity to stepping onto the sets of Param Sundari. The BTS video also featured the off-screen camaraderie between Sidharth and Janhvi, adding excitement among fans.

Talking about shooting the rain-soaked song, Janhvi said in a video, “We had controlled rain machines, but then it started pouring cats and dogs, and we were freezing. There were still six more hours to go.”

She also revealed that the song was originally planned to be shot over three days, but they managed to finish it in one day. After wrapping up the shoot at 6 a.m., the actress gave a glimpse of the scars she endured during the filming of the song, calling them her “battle scars."

About Bheegi Saree Song: This romantic song, set against the backdrop of rain, features Janhvi and Sidharth's sizzling chemistry. Dressed in a white saree, the actress mesmerises everyone with her sensuous dance moves, while Sidharth adds his charm to the Bheegi Saree Song.

Directed by Tushar Jalota and produced by Dinesh Vijan’s Maddock Films, Param Sundari stars the fresh pairing of Sidharth Malhotra and Janhvi Kapoor. The film is set to hit cinemas on 29th August 2025, offering a romantic celebration of opposites attracting, a North ka munda and a South ki kudi, with a blend of love, laughter, and cultural chaos set against the backdrop of Kerala.
