Janhvi Kapoor is serving fashion goals with her stunning looks at the Cannes Film Festival. The actress made her Cannes debut at the world premiere of her film Homebound, which received a 9-minute standing ovation from the attendees. She has been accompanied by Ishaan Khatter, Karan Johar, and the rest of the team. Videos of her from the event are surfacing online, and one of them has caught attention for her savage response to cosmetic surgery trolls.

The behind-the-scenes video of Janhvi was shared by anonymous fashion Instagram account Diet Sabya. She can be seen getting ready for the official premiere of her movie Homebound. Sitting and getting her makeup and hair done while chit-chatting. Looking at the camera, the actress can be heard saying, “I am stunning, I am beautiful, I look mesmerizing and I look breathtaking. Then, comes a statement that grabbed the limelight. 'They're gonna say it's plastic. Who cares?.'

This seems like a subtle response to all the criticisms, Janhvi is facing for her face online of her getting cosmetic surgeries to enhance her features.

For the second day look at Cannes, she wore a mint-green flowy gown from Anamika Khanna's collection, beautifully styled by Rhea Kapoor. She wore a backless custom-made high-neckline mint green gown with a long, flowing trail at the back. The front part is adorned with antique gold embroidery adding a touch of royal yet modern edge. Janhvi paired a mix of archival traditional Indian jewellery like jhumkas paired with custom jade and jadau pieces. Her back was covered with vintage jewels and charms. To complement her outfit, she went for a sleek bun look, to get focus more on the beautiful ensemble.

Janhvi's rumoured boyfriend, Shikhar Pahariya, and sister, Khushi Kapoor, have also accompanied her to Cannes to cheer her at her Cannes debut.

Meanwhile, on the work front, besides the movie Homebound, Janhvi also has Param Sundar opposite Sidharth Malhotra. She also has the Telugu movie Peddi starring Ram Charan in the pipeline.
