Jeetendra had a small fall while attending Zarine Khan's prayer meeting in Mumbai on Monday, November 10, 2025. The event occurred as the actor entered the hall, where he briefly lost his balance and fell to the ground. The veteran actor, famed for his long career in the film industry, swiftly regained his calm and informed those present that he was unharmed, and his son, actor Tusshar Kapoor, confirmed that he was 'fine.'
Jeetendra rose up after the fall and was seen talking with cameras, indicating that he was unhurt. Tusshar Kapoor addressed well-wishers' concerns, telling the Bombay Times that he is fine. "He is absolutely fine. According to him, it was just a minor fall." His words reassured fans and his ardent followers, stating that his father was not injured in the incident.

Meanwhile, Zarine Khan, the wife of actor-filmmaker Sanjay Khan, died on November 7 at the age of 81 in her Mumbai home after a protracted illness. Her cremation was place on the same day, with her son Zayed Khan performing the last rituals. The film community turned out in large numbers for the November 10 prayer meeting. Dimple Kapadia, Rani Mukerji, Fardeen Khan, Hrithik Roshan, Saba Azad, Salim Khan, Jackie Shroff, and Malaika Arora, to name a few, paid their final tributes.

Jeetendra, often known as the Jumping Jack of Bollywood for his high-energy performances and exceptional dance skills, ruled the silver screen in the 1970s and 1980s with a string of commercial smashes. His career includes timeless classics like Himmatwala, Caravan, Tohfa, Parichay, and Mere Huzoor. Throughout his lengthy career, he appeared in over 200 films.
While Jeetendra had taken a break from acting in recent years, the veteran actor returned briefly to the screen in Baarish Season 2 as Jeetuji Gandhi. His last major film role was in Ho Jaata Hai Pyaar (2005).
