John Cena, who is gearing up for his upcoming release of Heads Of State, has recently participated in a TikTok trend singing a BTS song. The actor has always showcased his admiration for the kpop band. Recently, the actor has again shown his affection for the group by participating in a trend where he performed BTS’ song Attack on Bangtan. It instantly went viral on social media and has earned appreciation from the ARMYs. Some fans also demand that John Cena meet BTS soon.
The Late Show’s official page shared the video of John Cena’s performance and wrote on Instagram, “We give @johncena a 7/7 for understanding the assignment.” Fans reacted to the post and shared their views on it. A user said, “And ARMY loves John Cena.” Another said, “MAKE THIS MAN MEET BTS.” A comment read, “Make John Sina meet BTS.” Another fan said, “Who would've thought the man I grew up watching throw invisible punches would one day be on my side of the fandom, vibing to BTS? From 'U Can’t See Me' to 'I see you, ARMY' — John Cena really grew with us.” A fan wrote, “I want a clip of him meeting our angels.” Another fan mentioned, “This was so cute! I love when ARMYs love BTS so openly.”
Notably, John Cena appeared on Tuesday’s Late Show with Stephen Colbert to promote his upcoming Hollywood movie Heads Of State. The film is slated to release on OTT giant Amazon Prime Video. The movie focuses on the time when the UK Prime Minister and US President became the target of a foreign adversary. They chose to fight against to thwart a global conspiracy. Heads Of State also features Priyanka Chopra, Idris Elba, Jack Quaid, Carla Gugino, Amber Rose Revah and Paddy Considine in key roles.
On the other hand, BTS members Jungkook, Jimin, V, RM and Suga have been discharged from their mandatory military service. Jin and Jhope were discharged last year. As per reports, the kpop band is set to make a comeback in September this year.
