Govinda has been away from the spotlight for quite a long time. While fans eagerly await his comeback, others believe his career is over. Recently, the actor appeared on the talk show Two Much with Kajol and Twinkle alongside Chunky Panday, where he opened up about feeling like everything in his career had come to a standstill. Govinda also revealed he had come across articles suggesting that his time in films was over. However, he tried to revive his career when he did Partner with David Dhawan.
Govinda shared the setback he faced during his journey in Bollywood. During the Two Much show, he said, "At times, life comes to a standstill. Aap kitna bhi acchi planning kar lijiye, aap kitne acchi dialogue likhwa lijiye, gaane karwa lijiye, par woh kamiyab tab hote hain jab ek mahoul taiyaar hota hain."
Recalling his comeback, Govinda shared that the film Partner with Salman Khan happened unexpectedly. The actor added, "I feel like artists are living in a womb. We think that we are born once, but we are fortunate to be born again and again. Kahi kahi lekh aaya ki, 'Govinda gaya, Govinda gaya.' Maine socha chalo ek picture shuru karte hai. I started Aa Gaya Hero. Before that, I met David Dhawan, and he suggested that let's make a film with Sohail. The hero would be Salman. That's how Partner came up."
