Kangana Ranaut's Queen and Tanu Weds Manu are two of the most-cherished movies by the audience. The films were a commerical success, bringing in huge numbers at ticket windows. The sequel to Tanu Weds Manu also ranked as the highest-grossing female-led movie in Bollywood. Now, the good news is- Kangana Ranaut is gearing up to reprise her roles in highly anticipated sequels to her previous films, revisiting iconic worlds that fans eagerly await.

According to sources close to entertainment portal PinkVilla, Kangana Ranaut is set to begin shooting for Queen 2 in November 2025. Director Vikas Bahl, who helmed the original, has reportedly finalized the script and is currently conducting a location recce in the UK.

Much like the first installment, the sequel will unfold across India and overseas, with London expected to play a significant role as a key international backdrop.

“The idea for a sequel stemmed from a strong script, and the team is confident about recreating the magic of the first film,” the source added.

Queen 2 script finalised, Tanu Weds Manu shoot to begin in 2026

After completing Queen 2, Kangana Ranaut will move directly to Anand L Rai’s Tanu Weds Manu 3. The filmmaker has already finalised the script and plans to begin filming by early 2026, following the completion of his upcoming project Tere Ishk Mein. The third installment is expected to return audiences to the heartland, blending Rai’s signature mix of humor, drama, and emotion.

Kangana Ranaut is all set to reunite with R. Madhavan for Tanu Weds Manu 3. Buzz suggests that the actress will portray multiple shades in this installment, adding fresh drama to the narrative while preserving the quirky, slice-of-life essence that made the franchise so popular. “The script has come together beautifully, and the team is eager to take the film on floors,” revealed an insider.
